The homeowner requested a red oak storage tower to complement the vanity. European-style fronts keep the cabinetry visually simple.

The homeowner’s direction

The homeowner’s material and fixture choices shaped the room from the beginning. Solveson Builders helped develop those choices into a cohesive design, then carried the project through a complete gut remodel and the finishing details.

Storage was a specific part of the brief. The homeowner wanted a tower made of red oak, with European-style front faces, alongside the custom floating vanity.

Design carried into the build

Black slate continues from the walk-in shower onto the bathroom floor. Clear glass preserves the view of the tile and keeps the compact room visually connected. Schluter waterproofing beneath the shower tile supports the finished surface.

Solveson Builders built the red oak vanity, matching mirror and storage tower. A clear finish highlights the grain, while the flat-panel cabinet fronts give the woodwork a consistent, uncluttered appearance.

Details for everyday use

  • A white vessel sink, matching wood-framed mirror and contemporary sconces coordinate the vanity area.
  • A dual-head Delta shower system with H₂Okinetic® technology serves the walk-in shower.
  • A TOTO automatic toilet adds a heated seat and integrated bidet.
  • The storage tower adds space for bathroom essentials beside the floating vanity.
